Location: Chevron Texaco Benguela-Belize Compliant Tower
RCI provided project management and technical consulting services to Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME) for fabrication of the compliant tower structure, template, and piles for ChevronTexaco’s Benguela-Belize project at the Kiewit and Gulf Marine Fabricators yards in Ingleside, Texas. The compliant tower was built in two (2) sections complete with risers and includes a structural base template and piles. The total load-out weight of the structure was approximately 40,000 tons.
- Provide on-site project management for fabrication and load-out of the compliant tower and components
- Manage material supply/receipt and cost tracking
- Manage scheduling logistics
- Act as liaison between the shipyards and their subcontractors and DSME’s Korean project personnel
