RCI provided design consultation, project management, and inspection services for Williams’ GA-A244 “A” junction platform. The platform is a 4-legged, 4-skirt pile jacket set in a water depth of 363′ with a 3-level deck. It serves as the shelf terminus of and junction platform for Williams’ East Breaks deepwater pipeline system which transports gas off of Anadarko’s, formally Kerr McGee’s Boomvang Nansen and Gunnison SPAR platforms (see detail sheet in Deepwater Projects section).

Project Management Scope of Work:

  • Design consultation and management of all contract engineering services
  • Managed fabrication of jacket, deck, and piles
  • Managed fabrication and yard installation of facilities
  • Coordinated with ExxonMobil for installation of their turbine pipeline pump module of approximately 500 s. tons
  • Managed jacket and topsides installation including pipeline tie-ins and facilities hook-up and all testing and commissioning activities
  • Complete project documentation inclusive of operations and maintenance manuals

Inspection Scope of Work:

  • Inspection during jacket and deck onshore fabrication, hook-up, and testing of Williams’ facilities equipment
  • Inspection during offshore installation of the jacket and deck
  • Inspection during electrical and instrumentation hook-up, pipeline tie-in, control system testing, and commissioning operations
