Daewoo - Chevron Texaco Benguela-Belize Tower

Project Details & RCI Activities:

RCI provided project management and technical consulting services to Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME) for fabrication of the compliant tower structure, template, and piles for ChevronTexaco's Benguela-Belize project at the Kiewit and Gulf Marine Fabricators yards in Ingleside, Texas. The compliant tower was built in two (2) sections complete with risers and includes a template and piles. The total load-out weight of the structure was approximately 40,000 tons.

Project Management Scope of Work:

• Provide on-site project management for fabrication and load-out of the compliant tower and components
• Manage material supply/receipt and cost tracking
• Manage scheduling logistics
• Act as liaison between the shipyards and their subcontractors and DSME's Korean project personnel
